CountryShots > That limestone hill to the left of the building was, at one point, 10 feet high. Local lore was it was enough to stop the 1972 tsunami.....five 40 foot waves struck the rocks, the building barely got wet at all. However, I've been told by much smarter people that the 'oldtimers' got quite a kick out of getting us rookies to believe that tale.
